Contacting the owner of the property
To ask the owner about availability and to make a booking you can use the form at the bottom of every Property Details page.
Please give your name, e-mail address, 'phone number, the number
of people in your party and the dates that you are interested in.
You can ask any other questions you may have. If you do not get a reply within a few days you could telephone (if the number is given in the details). These are private owners and they may be away for a few days.
How do I know the information given about a property is accurate ?
The accuracy of the information shown in the advert is the responsibility of the advertisers. We do not take responsibility for any inaccuracies and urge holidaymakers to undertake their own confirmations that the holiday property is as stated before committing to a booking. Our site is an advertising medium for owners, like a newspaper or magazine. We do not inspect the properties, nor get involved in the booking process.
Paying for the accommodation booking
You pay the owner directly. All dealings regarding the property booking
are made between the holidaymaker and the advertiser. We do not participate
in the booking process.
Each owner has their own procedure but in general,
you will be asked to pay a deposit to secure the
booking.
You should ask the owner about the cancellation
terms at the time of booking as deposits may not be
refundable or there may be a sliding scale
for cancellations.
The balance is normally paid around 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. Often a breakage deposit is required with the balance which is refundable at the end of the holiday less the cost of any breakages and metered charges for gas/electricity/telephone if they are not included in the rental.
Arriving at the Property:
The address and directions to the property are sent to you on payment
of the balance. The owner or their local representative or neighbour
will generally be there to meet you. Make sure that you have their telephone number so that you can call to let them know
if your arrival
time is delayed.
