"Les Volets Verts" is a well renovated family house, around the back of the chateau in a lovely little picturesque street in the medieval old part of Cesseras. A little village house from the outside but deceptively big when you enter as like many houses here, very private. You enter by the old kitchen, now used as a utility room. When you arrive upstairs everything changes… |

| LIVING ROOM |
There is a good sized lounge which looks out over the terrace by two large windows. It's well orientated to be light and airy but stays cool in summer (It can get very hot down here) It's equipped with arm chairs, a sofa, tele, DVD/DivX, broadband internet with cable and WiFi connections, telephone (free calls to most of Europe, America, Australia etc) There is a private staircase that leads to bedroom , above the lounge, with a king sized bed, The velux window has a sun blind on the outside and a blackout blind on the inside |

| KITCHEN |
At the entrance to the kitchen there are double doors that lead out onto the flowery terrace which is equipped with sun umbrella, patio furniture, loungers, a bench and a BBQ. The kitchen is large and has fridge, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, gas cooker with oven and 4 rings, a good range cooking equipment, stereo etc. There is a large tiled table that easily seats 8 and a new wood burning stove (new 2008) |

| BEDROOM(S) |
There are 3 Bedrooms on the first floor opposite the lounge is bedroom 1 with a double bed, outside this bedroom in the corridor there is a private staircase to another bedroom above which has 2 single beds. The 3rd bedroom has its own private staircase as well and is above the lounge and has a double bed. We have equipment for young children to lend such as a fold up bed, high chair and a barrier for a single bed to stop a very young child falling out if they're new to big beds |

| OTHER INFORMATION |
The old medieval town of Carcassonne (world heritage site)is half an hour away and you are just minutes away from the medieval stronghold of Minerve and the beautiful Cesse gorge. There are several lovely wild spots in the Cesse gorge and river where you can take a dip and there are so many beautiful historic and scenic spots, too many to mention here. The Med. is 40 mins away if you like crowds, great for a day or two for the kids |
