| Gite de France 3 épis in the heart of the Margeride: nature and tranquility |
| ACCOMMODATION |
|
In 1300 the local barons of the Margeride held the town of Malzieu, the fortress of the Dukes, the chateaux of Verdezun and Saugues.
Their history has left us some pretty villages of which the hamlet of Les Ducs (1186 m) and its tower.
The gite, totally restored in 2001, keeps the character of the region with its pretty facades of local granite, and offers you the calm of the countryside.
Here is the departure point for many walking trails which can take you up to " Lou Roc Cremat" (1492 m) or wander over the horizon of the Margeride. |

| LIVING ROOM |
The main living room is 30 m2.
The wood beams, the open fireplace and the omnipresent wood give a warm and cosy ambiance.
Seated on the couch or the armchairs in solid beech you appreciate winter evenings around the magnificent fireplace. |

| KITCHEN |
The modern kitchen, perfectly integrated with the atmosphere of the room, is equipped with a fridge, dish-washer, micro-wave oven, multi-fonction oven, gas and electic hot plates.
There is also a toilet with hand-basin.
The old stone spiral staircase leads up to the bedrooms on the first floor. |

| BEDROOM(S) |
Two agreeable bedrooms separated by soundproof partitions of solid local pine.
Shower-room with a large two-bowl wash basin ans a spacious shower. There is also an independant toilet with wash-basin on this floor.You will appreciate the quiet and the comfort of the gîte.
A wooden staircase leads up to the second floor.You will appreciate the quiet and the comfort of the gîte.
Under the roof of solid pine is a reading lounge, a room of 30 m2 equipped with a bed-settee, a wardrobe and table.
A bathroom with bath and wash-basin, and an independant toilet with handbasin is also on this floor. |

| OTHER INFORMATION |
The Margeride together with the Causses, the Cévennes, and the Aubrac make up one of the four natural entities of the departement of Lozère.
Characterised by an ancient geoogy, it is worth the detour to discover a richness that will satisfy loves of nature. |
