This room offers the choice of sleeping two people either using the sofa bed OR two full sized single folding beds. Television with English programmes, DVD Player, Radio/CD/Cassette player and some books are provided.

The house is newly refurbished and well equipped, with automatic dish and clothes washing machines, 4 burner gas hob, separate oven with grill, microwave, fridge, electric kettle, adequate utensils, crockery and cutlery.

There is a downstairs cloakroom with W.C. washbasin and dry shaver point in an illuminated mirrored cabinet.

A spiral staircase leads to the landing and the 3 comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin bath/shower and 2 mirrored cabinets, one illuminated.

Two of the rooms have double beds, the other has two singles which can be placed together.

There is the possibility of a third single bed if required. All have wardrobes with hanging space and shelving, bedside tables, wall mirrors and in some the original wooden ceiling beams are exposed.

From our village the Black Mountains can always be seen and on a clear day in the opposite direction the stunning Pyrenees (sometimes snow capped) are visible.

Further afield-50 kms- a days visit to the wonderful medieval walled City of Carcassonne is ,highly recommended, much to see and do!

Close local amenities include a Bar, Restaurant, Bakery, Newsagent & Pharmacy.

Within 1 km is a very large supermarket, stocked with just about everything you may require, including vehicle fuel and a car wash. On Sundays, flea/antique fairs are often held in village streets. Here you can try haggling in French! Narbonne hosts daily morning indoor food markets and twice weekly colourful outdoor ones.

Many sporting activities are available: Petanque (boules), horse riding, tennis, swimming, sailing, fishing, para-gliding and even sight-seeing joyrides in a light aircraft.

Saturday 4p.m. arrival. Saturday 10 a.m departure.

Bedlinen and towels provided but not for beach/pool.

It is expected the Gite will be left clean and tidy. Suitable materials are provided.

Deposits will be refunded one week after departure.
